Edwardian & Flapper: Garments of the Past, A Textile Exhibit

Colcock-Teel House in Old Town Bluffton
The Bluffton Historical Preservation Society presents a new exhibit, “Edwardian & Flapper: Garments of the Past, A Textile Exhibit.” The exhibit is being held at the Colcock-Teel House in Old Town Bluffton. The exhibit features vintage clothing and quilts from the early 20th century, and detailed history of the Colcock-Teel House. Reservations are required for this exhibit. Bring a beach chair, blanket, and pick up a picnic from one of our local merchants. Sunset Celebration, featuring live music and laid back family entertainment, is brought to you every Friday from June 19th to August 14th by the merchants of Shelter Cove Towne Centre.

Sweetgrass Basket Classes

Coastal Discovery Museum
Learn about the history of the Sweetgrass basket, one of the Lowcountry’s best known art forms, from a local 7th generation Gullah basket maker.
