Exciting plans for this year’s Hilton Head Island Boat Show include even more magnificent boats, great fishing and boating safety clinics and an expanded Outside Hilton Head “Paddlefest” events with kayak and Stand Up Paddleboard clinics/demos. A nautical and resort wear Fashion Show will be taking place on both Saturday and Sunday – with models from the South Carolina Yacht Club and Windmill Harbour! A new upscale wine, spirits and culinary celebration is certain to become a marquee event for the Hilton Head Island Boat Show – especially with this year’s special celebrity guests! Rodney Scott, of Scott’s Bar-B-Que in Hemingway, SC – nationally recognized and voted as one of Southern Living Magazine’s “20 Best BBQ Joints” and recently named as one of Tasting Table’s 2015 Southern Chefs to Know. Chef Rodney will be smoking a Hertitage Hog for the VIP Preview Party. Rob & Lydia Mondavi are the guest vintners for all of the Taste of the Harbour events.

Beer, Bacon & Music Festival

This extraordinary culinary adventure will be all the fun of a bacon themed block party mixed with a full scale festival experience. Join us as many of the area’s top restaurants, several of the area’s top bands, and hundreds of the area’s top food lovers gather to celebrate american traditions – Beer, Bacon & Music. This event will feature both bacon sampling and full sized bacon cuisine, bacon confectionery delights, live music from some of the area’s top bands (who also love bacon), bacon cooking competitions, full service bars with beer, liquor, wine and bacon themed cocktails. There truly will be something for everyone — from food and drink to live music. It is a raucous, rockin’ good time for everybody involved.

Beer Bacon Music is a brand new festival developed by the Island Recreation Association to benefit the Association’s Children’s Scholarship Fund to ensure that no child is denied recreational activities.
