SOBA’s Annual Member Judged Show
Today through April 4, 2015 • This is an All Day Event
Call for Artists and Art Lovers! SOBA’s 21st Annual Judged Show
The Society of Bluffton Artists will be holding the 21st Annual Member Judged Show from March 2 through April 4. SOBA members may enter one piece of 2 or 3-dimensional art, including photography, on Monday March 2 at the SOBA Gallery. Please visit the gallery at the corner of Church and Calhoun Streets in Bluffton for a membership form and show prospectus.
This year’s member show will feature SOBA Members’ best work and will be judged by Jeff Markowsky, acclaimed artist and art professor from SCAD. There will be a reception and presentation of awards on Friday March 6 from 5 – 7 pm. The public is invited for refreshments and to meet the artists at the SOBA Gallery, located at the corner of Church and Calhoun Streets in Old Town Bluffton. Stand-up at Pelican’s Point Comedy Club
Starting April 1 – Every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday • Doors open at 7:30pm
Pelican’s Point Comedy Club brings a great evening of entertainment to you seven nights a week. Each week begins with the club’s critically acclaimed resident show, “Two Thought Minimum” starring Mentalist Bill Gladwell, playing every Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday; and Wednesday through Saturday, the club features the nation’s premier stand-up comedians. Doors open at 7:30pm, and shows begin promptly at 8:00pm. Come early, and take advantage of the Dinner and a Show special.
Boys & Girls Club of Bluffton Oyster Roast
Thursday, April 2 • 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Join friends and neighbors for one of season’s last All-You-Can-Eat Oyster Roasts from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 2 at the Old Town Dispensary, 15 Captain’s Cove, Bluffton. The event benefits the Boys & Girls Club of Bluffton. For a $20 donation, guests can enjoy all the oysters they can handle under the tent next to the Dispensary. Kids under 12 can eat chicken fingers for free when accompanied by a paying adult. Soda and alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase inside the Dispensary.
