Just Ask Julie: Where do I begin?

Julie, I want to buy on Hilton Head, but I have no idea what is behind all those private gates.  I have visited here for years and I have access to all your great search sites, but I don’t know where to begin.  What should I do?

Thanks so much for your question! I get that question all the time!  Our clients call with so many questions about the area and all the different developments, private communities and amenities that are found beyond the limited view from the William Hilton Parkway on Hilton Head and Fording Island Road in Bluffton.  It can be a daunting task to figure it all out by yourself because of access, the overwhelming number of options and basically just not knowing where to start.

Hilton Head Island and Bluffton offer so many options to homebuyers.  As you mentioned, trying to navigate all these options can be overwhelming – especially when you have no one to ask and only  websites that show you homes based on price, size, view and so forth.  Your interest in living here isn’t necessarily because of a house.  Rather you want to immerse yourself in a lifestyle that you have come to love.  This is where we most often start in helping our friends and clients.

When coming up with our tagline, “We put you in a perfect place,” we also had a daunting task.  We wanted it to let people know what we bring to the table, and how we can help them.  Sure, we are experienced, have a team of committed specialists and provide great negotiation and support to a smooth closing.  But, what was really important is that we were able to express in one sentence how we can help people find just the right place for them, and then help them realize those dreams.

Our team is here to answer all your questions, even the ones you didn’t  know to ask.  We are not only real estate agents.  We are locals and homeowners.  We are a part of our communities.  We are neighbors and volunteers.  And most of all, we care.

We listen to you, and ask the right questions…

What do you like to do at home?  How about when you leave the house?  What is your perfect day?  Hobbies?  Pets?  Do you like to play golf?  Tennis?  Boat?  Ride horses?  Bike or take long walks on the beach?

The more you let us know, the closer to your dream will you find yourself.  Being able to help guide you realize your dreams is what makes us love what we do so much!
