Rushing into closing on a property is a common mistake many homebuyers make. Only a few steps away from owning a new home, many potential buyers overlook serious issues, distracted by the desire to cross the finish line. Rather than speeding through the process, take your time in evaluating the home before and after the official inspection.
Check out the interior and exterior of the home for any problems or concerns that may have developed after the inspection – especially if the seller has already vacated the home. It’s a good idea to bring a copy of the contract, inspection report, and any seller disclosures with you to the final walk-through.
