The Hilton Head Island Motoring Festival & Concours d’Elegance is one of the nation’s largest and fastest-growing automotive and motorsports enthusiast event weeks. This year, will be the 14th year celebrating the evolution of horsepower. Hilton Head Island Motoring Festival & Concours d’Elegance has selected Chrysler brand, now owned by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles as the Honored Marque for the 2015 Festival. With its unique experiences, Hilton Head Island Motoring Festival is one of very few national automotive gatherings to combine racing and collecting with enthusiast and lifestyle activities in a single, action-packed week. Hilton Head Island Motoring Festival will also celebrate 100 years of BMW, 75 years of Continental, 60 years of Ford Thunderbird and 50 years of Shelby Cobra. On Sunday, Nov. 1, the Concours d’Elegance will feature special classes on the Port Royal Golf Course to honor these four significant milestones.
The Festival kicks off with the Savannah Speed Classic, October 23 – 25, on the Grand Prize of America road course situated on the property of The Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa. The festivities will continue on Hilton Head Island, SC, October 30 – November 1, at Port Royal Golf Club where the Concours d’Elegance (November 1) will take center stage.
This year’s event will feature Clubs from throughout the Southeast and beyond. Each Club selects the 15-20 cars that best represents their passion. Cars, grouped by Club, will span the 1st and 18th fairways of Planter’s Row Golf Course at the Port Royal Golf Club and will be split between American and European marques.
The inaugural Flights & Fancy Aeroport Gala, to be held at the Hilton Head Island Airport, will feature an exclusive VIP cocktail hangar party on Friday evening, Oct. 30, and the Aero Expo on Saturday, Oct. 31. Both events will showcase a unique collection of vintage and historical aircraft alongside the newest airplanes from sponsors such as Cirrus. Automotive manufacturers with aviation heritage, including BMW and Volvo, will also be on display. Aircraft as well as vehicles will be on display both Friday evening and Saturday during event hours, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (access included with admission to the Car Club Showcase).
If you want to make a little piece of The Island your own, you need more than just a road map and a REALTOR. You need a partner who can make things happen.
