30th Hilton Head Firecracker 5K Run

Shelter Cove Community Park
The 30th Hilton Head Firecracker 5K Run and Family Fun Walk will be held on Saturday, July 4th 8:00am at Shelter Cove Community Park on Hilton Head Island. The Hilton Head Firecracker Run, is the largest and oldest road race in Beaufort County and one of the top ten races in the State of South Carolina. Over 1700 runners and walkers from across the United States annually participate in this fun, healthy, family event.
The festive Post-Race Celebration features a Children’s Fun Run, Live music, fresh fruit, ice cold refreshments, door prizes and more. A percentage of proceeds from the event benefits local charities including: The Hilton Head Rotary Club, Hilton Head High School Cross Country Team and The Hilton Head Runners Club. One Island. One Community. Free 4th of July Picnic

Join Central Oak Grove & Grace Community Church for a free community picnic, Saturday, July 4th from 11am-3pm at Honey Horn. Free bounce houses for the kids, slides, dunk tank, food & fellowship. Special performances by rapper, Chosen & solo artist, Yasmine Ariana. Emcee by Lavon Stevens.

Shelter Cove Community Park
The Island Recreation Association is proud to bring you a fun-filled, festive atmosphere from 5-9pm with the highlight of the night fireworks which start around 9pm. Kids of all ages can enjoy inflatable bounce houses for a minimal fee. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the fireworks! We are adding to the fun this year with a zipline and bungee jump! Concert in the Park. Southern Maple Band 5-7pm Groove Town Assault 7-9pm
July 4th Parade and Fireworks at Harbour Town
July 4th
Show off your red, white and blue spirit by decorating your bicycle, wagon, dog, or kids for a fun filled parade around Harbour Town. Meet at the parking lot adjacent to the Harbour Town Lighthouse at 8:30am to register and pick up decorating supplies. Parade line-up begins promptly at 9:30am, and entries will be judged on patriotism. Supplies limited to the first 100 registered. Following the parade, join us for some holiday fun and activities. Continue the festivities in Harbour Town with a fireworks extravaganza that will light up the sky over the famous Harbour Town Lighthouse and Calibogue Sound at 9 PM. Food, fun and live music.
