Take part in the three races series events at Buckwalter Place. The race entails a 3 mile run on the Buckwalter running path and the beautiful Greenway trail, a 16 mile Bike on the Bluffton parkway (flat and fast loop course) then repeating the 3 mile run course. You start and finish the race in the. Buckwalter Place Business and Shopping park Bring your family, friends and sign up for a relay team or a individual. Space is limited to 300 participants. Quintessential Bluffton, Paintings by Lynda Potter

The Society of Bluffton Artists Gallery welcomes Lynda Potter as our featured artist May 4 – June 6. “Quintessential Bluffton” will showcase Potter’s latest collection of lovely floral and architectural paintings. This body of work captures the beauty of centuries old live oaks, the history of the charming old homes and gardens, and the quaint character of the old town area all wrapped up in a spectacular splash of a colorful exhibit. Potter paints in water media – watercolor and acrylics with a skillful use of textures and layers, transparent and opaque, creating flowing, loose and often somewhat abstracted compositions. Potter was one of the founding members of the Society of Bluffton Artists, and served as its first president from 1994-96. She can be credited with helping identify Bluffton as an “art destination” encouraging artists, galleries, and art lovers to the area with her example and passion. The SOBA gallery is open from 10 until 5 pm Monday – Saturday and Sunday from 11:30 am – 3 pm, and is located at the corner of Church and Calhoun Streets in Bluffton.For more information visit sobagallery.com or call 843-757-6586.
